Morrissey Repair + Renew

Context

Independent contractors live and die by reputation, but most of them look exactly the same — generic logos, forgettable names, nothing that communicates the care and quality they actually bring to the work. Morrissey Repair and Renew is different: a Toronto-based contractor that leads with craftsmanship and takes pride in every project. Matthew Morrissey needed a brand that reflected that.

Process

The goal was to build something that felt considered and trustworthy without tipping into corporate coldness. Independent trades businesses have a warmth and personal accountability that larger companies can't replicate — the brand needed to honour that while still feeling polished enough to compete for quality-conscious clients.

Output

A full brand identity system, delivered end to end: logo, colour palette, business card, promotional flyer, and a merch line spanning hat, t-shirt, and hoodie. Every piece was designed to work together as a coherent whole — so whether a client sees a flyer in their mailbox or a crew member wearing the hoodie on the job, it all reads as the same confident, quality-first brand.

Impact

small business that now looks like it takes itself as seriously as it takes its work — which is exactly the point. The right brand doesn't just attract clients, it attracts the right clients.
